“Be Good Ambassadors of Kaduna State” Ikara Charges Pilgrims

The Overseer of the Kaduna State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board; Malam Tsoho Ikara has admonished all the pilgrims sponsored by the state to be good ambassadors of Kaduna throughout their pilgrimage and stay in the holy land of Saudi Arabia.

Malam Ikara, whose message was delivered by a spokesman from the board, Yunusa Abdullahi while addressing the News Agency of Nigeria said that more than 6000 pilgrims have been transported to Saudi Arabia in 17 flights. He said that the board had employed the services of Medview Airline and Max Air and they have successfully enabled the travel of 4349 males and 1856 females to the holy land while 545 intending pilgrims are expected to join them.

The board in their official statement released today said that a total of 6750 intending pilgrims from the state would perform the 2017 Hajj pilgrimage and the transportation of the pilgrims started on August 1 from the Kaduna International Airport and would be concluded this week.
