Alhaji Balarabe Musa, the former Governor of Kaduna state has declared the Executive President of Nigeria, General Muhammadu Buhari as a weak leader that has failed all the citizens of Nigeria because he did not deliver on many of his campaign promises to the country.
The former Governor disclosed his feelings at his residence in Kaduna on Sunday; he said that the president had disappointed the millions of Nigerians that went out of their way to vote Buhari into office in 2015. “There are mass killings all across the country, high level of poverty and hunger coupled with massive unemployment as well as uneven development to mention but few”
“I know that it is his constitutional right to run for a second term in office but it is the right of the electorates to decide through their votes and it is expected that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), will allow the votes to count. Only the electorates can decide his fate,” Alhaji Balarabe Musa said.
Echoing the words of Alhaji Balarabe Musa, the former speaker of the Federal House of Representatives Alhaji Ghali Na’Abba has said that the Buhari was unfit to be President of Nigeria. “He has not got the capacity physically and intellectually to govern Nigeria, this is my honest opinion.” He made this declaration during an exclusive interview to Osas Show anchored by Osasu Igbiniedon
“The president feels that since he is now in charge, everything is in order. He would not get my support should he seek a second term come 2019, there is no way I can support him,” Alhaji Ghali Na’abba. He informed the public that he was able to meet the president recently and the president insisted that the he should not worry because everything was going as planned.
“I had the opportunity of sitting with President Buhari so I could tell him that this is what is wrong but he told me that things were wrong before but with his election, everything is right now. That was what he told me and I was very disappointed”
“I decided to move back to the APC from the PDP to support Buhari because I believed he wanted to add value to democracy from his utterances. This is three years into his administration and he does not work with the party, he regards party members as evil, he doesn’t work with anybody, he doesn’t with anybody in the party,” Alhaji Na’Abba said.
“I am a member of the Board of Trustees of the party even though we don’t have it officially. We had a meeting of such a board or whatever you call it in February 2016.
“That meeting was only called again in November 2017 when he decided that he wanted to get re-elected and he needs us. He promised to reconstitute boards. He had earlier refused to do that because he believed politicians were responsible for all the evil in this country and he also promised to increase the number of ministers. In a nutshell, the president has not added value to democracy by an inch,” Alhaji Ghali Na’Abba concluded
Alhaji Na’Abba also concluded that the seven governors that have endorsed the President for re-election in 2019 were acting on their own without the support of their statesmen because nobody was consulted before the endorsement.
